The Sefton Sparkler

The second and final farewell for the 507s takes place on 3rd November. The “Sefton Sparkler” tour, organised by the Branch Line Society, starts at Southport at 8:20am and will cover most of the Northern Line, including rare track not usually traversed by passenger trains. This is likely to be one of the final appearances of 507s before their final withdrawal.

Please note that the tour is now Sold Out and no further tickets are available.

Timings for the tour are now available on Realtime Trains. Note that despite what the RTT schedule says, the tour will not visit Kirkby but will reverse at Fazakerley Junction.

We will be on board with a range of merchandise, including some special items exclusive to the tour. We are grateful to the BLS for allowing us to be on board the train with our sales stand.

The famous raffle will also take place on board, with a chance to win some special items.

Whether you are on board or just following the train around the network, let's give the 507s the send off they deserve.
