Following our successful appearance at the Classic Transport Weekend during the summer, the Class 507 Preservation Society is pleased to return to the Llangollen Railway for their Heritage Railcar Gala on the weekend of 17th and 18th October.
You will find us once again in the Waiting Room at Llangollen station. We expect to the busy, so we recommend speaking to one of our volunteers on the stand to ensure you get your preferred timeslot. A ten-minute drive over an authentic recreation of part of the Hunts Cross line, costs just £5, with all proceeds split between the C507PS and the Llangollen Railway.
We will also have our usual merchandise stand with plenty of Class 507 souvenirs to buy, including our new calendar and copies of the new book PEP Prototype Trains.
For more information on our simulator, check out class507.org.uk/simulator.
The Heritage Railcar Gala will feature an intensive timetable of DMU operation, including the line’s newly arrived Class 110 DMU making its debut in passenger service. Trains operate from approximately 9.30am until 5.30pm both days, with a special evening service on Saturday. For more information on the Heritage Railcar Gala, including timetable and ticketing details, visit the Llangollen Railway website.
